There are no aliens. They are at best inter-dimensional beings (Vallée) or demons.

The theory of evolution is the biggest lie foisted on humanity.

We were created 'ex nihilo' by the Supreme God of the universe.

We are alone in the universe on this pale blue dot that is 71% water.

As Enrico Fermi said about aliens while looking at the night sky: 'where are they?'

Or both. "Inter-dimensional being" may perfectly well be another way of saying "demon".

Will remember you in our family prayers. Nice piece, good to have you back.

A brief introduction- My wife and I will be married 38 years this July. We have eleven children and twenty-two grand children. We attend the Latin Mass and say the rosary nightly. My son co-hosts "What Catholics Believe", available on YouTube. Haha, I hope none of this precludes acceptance of our prayers. Would love to hear your thoughts on the current state of the Church.

P.S. I sent you a couple coffees. Enjoy!

P.S. again- I just checked your Substack for past articles and had no idea you had so many pieces posted. I will be reading them all. Take care.

Thanks, both for the coffee and the prayers!

Latin Mass here, too. And Breviarium, and rosary.

Unfortunately we could never have more than 2 children; we did try, she (we!) had a lot of miscarriages, but what can one do but pray and accept? At least my kids have already given me three grandchildren, and I don't think they'll stop there, thanks God.

About the current crisis, or rather the present form of the one single crisis that started with Judas' act, there is a text here on the anniversary of what became The Council -- the single excuse for so many things, a few good, some bad, and many more worse, few of them having anything to do with the actual thing.

I also have a Youtube channel, but there's practically nothing in English there. A Brazilian friend who lives in the USA asked me to chat with him on video about how to prepare for a good confession a while ago; as far as I remember, it's the only thing in English in my channel, where I cross-posted it. It's at https://youtu.be/ZaWBOKvMESQ

Likewise, I write a bit of fiction, but little of it (so far) in English. There is a short story, which I wrote as an exercise, at https://www.wattpad.com/story/221805918-the-piper-and-the-plague.

In Portuguese, on the other hand, there's plenty. Radio show, Youtube channel, some written fiction, and newspaper columnist for many years, with some books published, including a small one that is the only Portuguese-language primer on the Social Teaching of the Church. If you happen to know a publishing house that could be interested on translating and releasing it, I'd be really happy. It would probably be a breath of fresh air for the American market, as it is hard to find stuff there that does not follow partisan lines; translating something written outside may be a solution for that problem. ;)

You were very missed, Professor Ramalhete! Gazeta do Povo is not the same without your weekly column. Good to read you again!

Very interesting thoughts!

As a creature, we are story tellers and bridging the old forms of Superior Man like Tintin onto the "they walk among us" alien tropes definitely has it's strong points.

Dear Carlos Ramalhete, I'm relieved to have news from you, thank God you are OK in Ramalhete's standard, of course. I keep you in my prayers just like my gratitude for your work, forever.

Thank you. I am not in good health right now; otherwise I'd be more productive.
